Okay, here's my annual Mekka Blue guest strip. I couldn't be arsed screwing around with Photoshop for hours, so I just drew it. Behold my awesome drawering skills.
A few weeks ago, for about five minutes, I was planning on putting together the crappiest comic pitch I could and send it to Marvel. It'd be drawn by me and feature a weird villain, two fights and a chase scene. I'd do sample colours in crayon, and cite my influences as Tom DeFalco and Chuck Dixon.
I got as far as making the cover, then realised I don't really have that much time to waste.
Had a great art day a few weeks ago, but of course my scanner (which I got for my birthday about seven years ago) is buggered, so I can't scan much of it at all. I have several nice Firestorm, What If, and tasty other pages, when I have access to a scanner again. Whenever that might be. One thing I do have a scan of, is one of my favourite pieces now, the cover to Xer0 #8, from the Face-cover month that DC did, by Chris Cross. Beautiful, man.
